Position Title: Behavior Technician (BT)
Position Status: Hourly, (Up to 40 hours per week as scheduled monthly)
Wage: $10.25 for training period, (first 50-60 hours completed), $14.75 per hour after completion of training phase. Additional opportunities for professional development and career advancement as a Registered Behavior Technician with wages starting at $16.00.

Functional Behavior Services, (FBS), is looking for an enthusiastic Behavior Technician to join our growing team. FBS is a locally owned private practice based out of Marquette, MI. We strive to provide exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis, (ABA), and Therapy services to individuals of all ages looking to enhance their quality of life. Our BT’s provide skill development sessions in the home, community, and clinic settings with the use of ABA interventions to teach communication, social, and functional living skills as well as reduce problematic behaviors. BT’s provide ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable and functional replacement behaviors.
The qualified applicant will be provided with all training needed to work in a rapidly growing field with the potential to grow and develop into a long-term career. This position is also an excellent opportunity for people looking to advance their career in ABA or related fields such as speech therapy, education, other psychology fields, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
This position requires the individual to professionally and respectfully interact with our learners, (children and parents/guardians), and staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, resourceful, efficient, consistently displaying a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail is also required. Must have the ability to collaborate and work well with others.

Scheduled Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, as scheduled monthly. This position requires the candidate to be available between 8-7pm Monday- Friday and occasional pre scheduled Saturdays. FBS is closed 9 Holidays per year.
Minimum Training and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age/ Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent/ Valid Driver’s License/ Pass a background check
